About Meem

Masjids in the United States run food pantries, after-school tutoring, refugee resettlement support, counseling, senior programs, and disaster relief. Public and philanthropic funding exists for all of this work. Very little of it reaches Muslim community organizations, largely because the process assumes a professional development staff that most masjids do not have.

Meem is an attempt to remove that gap: surface the opportunities that actually apply, explain eligibility in plain language, help a volunteer write a serious application, and let masjids help one another instead of each starting from zero.

We do not invent grant opportunities, award amounts, testimonials, or success statistics. Where a real value is unknown, the interface says so. Demonstration content is labeled as fictional everywhere it appears.

The drafting assistant will not fabricate program data, partnerships, or outcomes. It works only with what your organization provides and what the official announcement contains, and it flags anything missing as a bracketed placeholder for a human to complete.

Faith-based organizations are eligible for most federal grant programs. Federal funds generally cannot pay for inherently religious activity such as worship or religious instruction, but they can support community services delivered by a religious organization. This platform is designed to help you present the community-service side of your work accurately, without asking you to hide your identity.
